I've come to realize that a lot of things are not what they seem to be at all. All of reality is an illusion, it's what we decide to make it. And everyone's reality is different, so who knows what is really going on? I don't think we will ever know exactly what another person thinks or feels. No matter how much we try to describe these things it doesn't seem to be adding up.
There's another thing I'd like to address. In a previous blog post I said that I finally knew what love was. I'm not so sure that I know. I know that I believe in love and I know that love is a beautiful thing. However, it seems to cause hurt almost as much if not more than it causes joy. I'm starting to believe that "true" love may not exist. What is true love really? Loving someone your whole life and remaining completely content with that person? That seems boring almost. I'm not saying I don't want to love someone my whole life, I'm just saying that it seems impossible for myself as a person to love solely one person my entire life. That is why I think marriage is bullshit. I mean, "giving" yourself to someone...I'm not about to do that. I'm my own person and I have complete ability to love and care for another person without handing over my life to them. I'll more than gladly share my life with someone but my faith in the whole situation is d w i n d l i n g.

After reading what I've just written I also want to say that I am not trying to sound pessimistic.
I fully believe in love. It happens when we least expect it. (:
Speaking of LOVE, last Friday I got to experience something utterly amazing.

I have loved The Used since middle school and I finally got to see them live and in person. It was so spectacular. I was instantly in a state of bliss. I was dancing and singing at the top my lungs and I honestly couldn't give one shit about what the stationary people around me were thinking. I almost cried I was so happy. I haven't been that happy since I met Craig Owens. I even blew Bert a kiss and I know that he saw me. He was looking directly at me and it was like the whole moment was in slow motion.
After hearing the songs live from Bert's mouth I rediscovered the meaning of his words. As I sang them I remembered earlier times in my life when I had nothing else but the music. It made me feel euphoric.

I don't know what I'd do without music.
There's definitely one more thing I need to mention. I know how a lot of people feel about the subject so I'll try to keep it short and sweet.
I absolutely love Justin Bieber. You can say he isn't talented. You can say he's stupid and I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard "he looks like he's twelve" & "he sounds like a girl". I KNOW. However, Justin Bieber is sixteen and I'm sure his voice will be changing soon ha.
I am aware that he doesn't write his own music but for some reason listening to him makes me happy. It makes me smile when I'm sad. I think that's something to appreciate whether the artist is truly talented by the standards of whomever. So, think what you will but Justin Bieber can dance better than I can.
